Hey all,

My Grandpa slammed this old shotgun in the gun safe door. He is really bummed about It. It was manufactured around 1930 and was in mint condition. The barrel is dented in two places. I'm wondering how and if this is repairable. Also, is there a decent gunsmith in the Bend area that could fix this properly? Check out the pictures, and thanks for the suggestions.

i did basically the same method that ol larry used except i was fixing a magazine tube for my shotgun. i used a 12" snap-on 3/8 drive extension and a snap-on deep 17mm chrome socket.i tried my SK and craftsmans sockets 1st but they were either too big or too small. tapped it in with my ball peen hammer then worked the dent out by lightly tapping around it with the hammer. good as new.
