The next 2 stamps should be a lot quicker with the electronic filing. Those where submitted last September.
I don't have a problem with the $200.00 tax stamp cost, it's fairly reasonable when you consider that the $200 tax on NFA firearms was quite prohibitive when the original law (1934) was passed.

As far as quicker with e-filing.
Here is the NFA tracker trending chart from a couple of days ago. The descending blue shows paper forms and the ascending red is the e-forms wait time.
See how they are converging?

If this trend continues the differences could be negligible.
 
I have to thank a member here called "Iansstud" for his advise in creating a family gun trust.
He posted a link showing how to draft one, and all I had to do was change the trust documents to say Oregon instead of Washington.
Worked like a charm, and didn't cost me anything.
