The last conversation, with the ODF Statewide Recreation Mngr, was 2 weeks ago and he said the North block of the Santiam will remain closed till October.

Seems they still have more logging to do due to that fire. I have a hard time thinking that it takes that long to make it public safe. But it is what it is.
