Have the fXXXers pushing this stick their nutsacks in the machine all day for a week and get back to me then.
Betcha they won't...

I wonder.......Some hotels have their own private SWAT teams now;
Well now-a-days......just being exposed to some burning trash (or whatever) on a military base counts for something. Sooooo.......Seems to me that bombarding the general public with high level RF (X-Ray) energy would had some sort of ill effects on...I don't know?....say the testicles or something?
Read the paperwork you sign when you check in.I wonder.......
Did the room occupant sign a contract that STATED that he couldn't have a firearm in his room?
HOTEL POLICY?
Rrrrright......show me where I have agreed to the policy to be stripped of my 2nd A right to keep and bear arms while I'm in my rented room?
Their house, their rules. Same as your home.Security/Management asking/requesting to search my rented room?
Nope. Now, please leave.
Probably not. You broke the rule. I'm sure the refund policy is in that paperwork you signed at check in.So then......you're NOT gonna leave me alone. Mind you that I've already paid and have taken up occupancy within. REALLY. OK then, refund my money and I'm leaving. YOU happy now?
BUT I suspect that the Hotel will/may NOT refund my money.
Again, their house, their rules. So what should/could I do? Small claims court?
Hummmm......BUT, But, but......I suspect that most of us will probably be a "tourist/visitor" to LV. So, filing a small claims action and coming back would probably be out of the question. So then.....I wonder if.....some hungry lawyer might want to take up a "class action law suit"?
Might as well write them a bad yelp review. You'd get the same amount of "justice".If not, perhaps contact the media and make a "BIG stink" (about how you were treated)?
Private property. They can do what they want outside of any anti-discrimination laws.Sojourn.
Wouldn't/shouldn't your Constitutional Rights apply here too? Maybe, there is or isn't, some case law to study here?
I wasn't being snarky, just stating that the policy is likely in the check in agreement, which you sign and agree to before accepting the keys.Good on you.....to bring up the FACT that I should read ALL paperwork prior to taking up occupancy or signing a document (Hotel Register).
I can't say I read it all either, mostly skim it for anything that would stand out as odd. I mind my own business and don't draw attention to myself when I'm in hotels. I also keep my carry gun with me whenever I can, including inside my room, despite any policy. The repercussions of this decision are my own to bear.LOL. Though I don't normally read the "small" print.
Not to mention, that I might have reserved my room via the internet web site and perhaps (and I don't really recall if) there was any mention of a NO FIREARMS POLICY.
Sort of, it's available to the general public, as long as you follow their rules.Yeah......HUD is "public housing".......while a HOTEL is "private property". Though it is a "public accommodation" so.......
You can remove someone from your house for saying something you don't like or carrying a gun. Same goes for a hotel. As for "discrimination". Well, exercising one's CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS should now be considered an option?
There's other laws that govern that. They do log all your traffic though. Again, there is another policy you agree to abide to before you sign onto their network.Example: Using the Hotel's internet. So, does the Hotel have a right to spy on your correspondence/e-mail with your wife?
True, but I think anyone whos open to the public for business should not be allowed to infringe on their customers constitutional rights. You can remove someone from your house for saying something you don't like or carrying a gun. Same goes for a hotel.
I'm pretty sure I have the right to be secure in my person, houses, papers and effects against unreasonable searches and seizures. My hotel room is my domicile for the duration of the time I've paid for. You can knock on my door, and I may even answer it, but if you want to come in, bring cops with a warrant. If you've got some fine print you want to quibble over, I've got an attorney for that.I wasn't being snarky, just stating that the policy is likely in the check in agreement, which you sign and agree to before accepting the keys.

I'm referring to hotel staff. The police absolutely cannot enter your room without a warrant, even if the staff wishes to permit them.I'm pretty sure I have the right to be secure in my person, houses, papers and effects against unreasonable searches and seizures. Edit: What @Koda said.

TBH, I don't care how much it is. Any that I don't ask for is too much.It isn't high level X ray.
Your post wasn't the one that asserted it was high level x ray.Don't care.
So am I. If the hotel wants to enter my room without my permission, they're in for a legal shetstorm. I don't care what I signed.I'm referring to hotel staff. The police absolutely cannot enter your room without a warrant, even if the staff wishes to permit them.
.....the pilot came down the aisle and very calmly knelt down and told the two ladies that they had two choices: They could leave the plane on their own accord and organize flights on their own dime, or they would be escorted off the plane by security and placed on a no fly list!"
AKA Toxic Belch. This is why when I want to gamble I go to taco bell.
Best case scenario....AKA Toxic Belch.
