Once you're in place, they release the pigs and herd them onto the road in front of you. There is then a mandatory $200 dressing fee per head, whether you keep the meat or not.

Texas is mostly privately owned, hence the paid hunts.

It wont be, in Oregon its illegal to charge to hunt feral pigs. Thats why what few we have are not a problem here.

yes, it is illegal to charge to hunt feral hogs but the landowners don't have to let you on their land either. odfw hired killers to get rid of them a few years back. there are a few around but widely scattered.
