What does that have to do with Canada's gun laws? I am not moving, I would never want to live there. Just trying to clear up some misconceptions regarding their laws. Turns out I was a bit ignorant myself.

That was a generic statement, not a directed one. We were going to move the BC at one point years ago. Once I learned what someone has to go through and how they could keep and not keep firearms, we said screw-it.
The people of Canada are the ones that let it get there, and they need to be the ones to fix it.

Correct me if im wrong but I thought in Canada a citizen can own a handgun but you can only posess it at home or at a specific range and can only transport it to/from specified range on a specific route....?
