I would have a concern with law enforcement commandeering the videos for purposes of identifying weapons you own if you ever get into a position where they want to come get them. I'm also leery of the prosecution using the videos in a trial of some sort to "prove" that you were practicing the "violent" act you're accused of. For me, it falls under the category of talking to the police. Nothing good ever comes of it.

I doubt they keep images for very long...would require too much storage.
My guess is a few days at most, then it overwrites.

Cloud storage is insanely cheap, it will be there forever. I have been a member only six months and there is always someone or their guests that have forgotten all the rules at the 50/100 range.

I have a tinfoil hat, but that is a little bit of a stretch. Just IMO is all, in today's technology.

I do understand what your saying though.

Tech in another few years? Yup could likely read firearm serial #'s using a $50 standard home surveillance camera at 200 yards.

I'd actually welcome cameras all over our range, just so the RO's could appropriately educate all members who "slip up" too often on safe handling.

I'm honestly tired of the old guys and the operators and mall ninjas who all know more than the rules. It gets old. Follow the rules. Have a good time. Be safe. No full auto. No AP ammo. No 50BMG.

KEEP THE MUZZLE BELOW THE BERM.

cameras are going to be great if it weeds out these guys.

Oh now you've done it...all the Tri County haters are gonna be apoplectic about this.
Bold, my friend. Very bold.

Bonus points for getting a $5 word into the thread. I will spot you a box of CCI when we cross paths next.

I think Meridian7750 was trying to call me a liar , but I could be wrong...

My My, those look like great toys.
Certainly not calling you a liar, more just wondering why you think ANY public or private gun club, surrounded by homes and neighborhoods, would or should let you shoot these items on their premises.
Blast the desert sand all you want.
Carry on...

What do you mean "Should"
Ranges "should" be open to any type of firearms as long as the shooters and weapons are safe for the backstop.

You can shoot Full-Auto all you want at the Rainier range. It's next to houses and a school.
There are alot of MG shooter's that I have met, they all have been very polite and safety oriented.

It kinda sound's like you are discriminating against FA gun's and owner's:(
