Would having a trust own the firearms protect the ownership and remove the inheritance issues? I have trustees for my NFA items that can legally possess them, so if i die, they become the controlling trustee and there is no transfer required. I would ask an attorney re trusts. Don't ask the WA gun law youtube guy though. He will say you can't put a title 1 firearm into a trust, which is wrong.
