History shows that the pendulum in political parties usually swings back and forth. But usually a sitting president gets an 8 year term. If this holds true and the conservatives don't loose control of congress, Trump just might get to appoint another SC Justice which would be great for upholding the Constitution and the 2nd Amendment. Ginsberg won't retire as she hates Trump and most conservatives and will stick it out as long as she can. But I don't know that she will be able to function in her capacity for another six years.
I usually think the change in power is a good thing as it keeps things in balance. However the Democratic party has gone berserk. They have migrated so far to the extreme left that they would ruin our country with socialist programs.

Exactly - there are several Democrat senators up for re-election in states that are currently on Trump's side. They may have to play the game, talk tough, to please their fellow Democrats, but when the vote comes in, I expect 2-3 could easily vote for his confirmation. Gorsuch got 3 Democrat votes for confirmation. I think it's entirely possible that he'll be confirmed with 52-54 votes overall.

I've been hearing the same BS. If they want to start a civil war, that would be another good way to do it. Impeaching justices just because they're butthurt that not all America is in line with their twisted way of thinking won't go down well, not at all. Even if the civil war didn't happen, they'd be demolished in the following election and then the Republicans would simply do the same to their justices. It's a losing battle even they aren't stupid enough to start.

Then again, they've shown they don't play the long game well - since Harry Reid changed the rules and is almost single-handedly responsible for Trump likely getting both his nominees through without much real opposition. They're all pizzed that their attempt to change things for their benefit earlier is working against them now. Bunch of dumbsh!ts.
