Like Oregon, California really isn't that liberal. It's just the main hubs of the legal system. Here it's PDX & Salem. There it the Bay, Hollywood, Sacramento and any beach area.

There is some truth here - and Sacramento would be far less so if the legislature wasn't there. If all the land about 10 miles from the coast from SF south fell into the ocean with the population the state could be saved from the anti 2A crowd provided the rest of the bay area and south bay flooded after the event and all of the politicians went with it.
Up here in WA we need most of Seattle to fall into a sink hole to balance things out.

In general if plagues hit most major metropolises things might get better....

Oh, there is logic all right. It's just not our logic - instead it is ruling class logic. It's better for the ruling class if the peons are disarmed, and dependent on them and their minions for "protection".
