I agree about avoidance, but it's unfortunate that this hole they're digging is supported by so many Americans and the support is growing everyday.

Its not. What is happening is further polarization. Which I didn't even know was possible but here we are. My dad won't even talk to me for more than 30s without going into a TDS rage. My mother is mad for things I said about BLM.

People are settling into camps, and facts and feelings won't even matter soon, jus which camp you are in.

From what I have seen talking to people, large amount of people in the middle are shifting to the far right, we just don't see it because social media, and MSM are 100% lockdown by the left.

That said, the left is going even farther left. Like I said, polarization.

Based on what I know about my two sons and their friends the vast majority of the teens these days are all for embracing socialism ideals. I hope there are others who are going the opposite direction.

Looks like the Portland and Vancouver Police have been told to stand down. Perhaps they will offer neck massages and fresh paint brushes to the participants.

I bet the cops will be johnny on the spot if angry motorist try to get through or express their disapproval with the protesters. In fact I bet the cops stop traffic for the protesters. This is an insane world we are living in right now.

It appears that way, although you can't trust your sources of information, so it ain't necessarily so. But any population of human beings is going to include a large cohort that blows with the wind, having no principles or at least no courage to express them. They might side with whomever appears on top at any given time. Those people are not going to set any agenda in a revolution. They are furniture.

What happens will be determined by the hard core 3% or 5% or 10% that exist on both sides of the coming war.

Yeah no it seems that way in the media bias and the censoring, but they are losing support. They don't care about all lives, just black lives, so they believe they're entitled to things more than other folks for no valid reasons. So the anti-racists are in fact the racists just like antifa are actually facists.

There are causes I'm sympathetic to and I often recognize injustices. Yep, there are some things America can do better. Very insightful comments there. I totally agree about polarization. It has been going on a long time (most effectively instituted by Karl Rove and copied by both parties ever since) and purposely so. It's all about brand loyalty, just like coke or Pepsi. And it's been drilled into poeple for years to be loyal to their "brand". You have the coke brand news and the Pepsi brand news. There is no longer just regular objective news.

That's why we no longer have "centrists" running for president. There is no longer an attempt to pull voters from the other party. Now the politicians only try to villainize people from the other party and say how they r so different from you.

Once upon a time we were Americans first, and communities of Democrats and Republicans got along well enough and had friends of both parties. Now it's more like how dare you say such and such. You must be the enemy if you say that etc. the polarization has been well planned and has been executed for many years by both parties. And that's why we are where we are. Where will it go from here though? That the big question.
