So what do you think the best factory match grade .308 is?

I'm talking for anything up to and including 1000 yards for targets.

I know hand loading is the way to go and I agree. I know it differs for each rifle to some extent. None-the-less, I'd still like your opinion on most accurate and consistent factory match grade .308.

I've been very happy with Black Hills 175gr and Fegeral Gold Medal Match 168gr but is there something you find better?

(again I know it's going to be different for each set up)

I'd recommend trying the Cor Bon match stuff.... my buddy uses some in his 260 (he also reloads) it was doing sub MOA at 925yds! Aparently they do a good job on consistancy... if your rifle likes their ammo you may have something!

Just spent some time researching their products. Looks like a quality round and everyone seems to be happy. Little pricey for my taste though. More expensive than a Federal 175gr which I'm getting sub MOA with at 600 yards. I'm guessing it will stay sub moa to at least 800 as well but I haven't tried it out that far yet.

I'm really interested in the new Hornady Superformance 178gr. If it does everything they say they'll clean up!

Thanks for the tip!

In my experience, your unique gun will like one of the rounds better than any of the others. I think you have to try them for yourself.

Even another rifle with a consecutive serial number, just like your gun, might do better with yet another brand.
