Best and worst silencer hosts?

Since we are talking about .45's I just put together a glock 21 with a Holson 507 green dot, theaded barrel and a hybrid suppressor, and a taran + 4 mag base fun to shoot plus it makes a nice bed side pistol.

How does the Glock run? I was just talking to the owner of KKM, and he convinced me the 17 isn't a good host.

I have a G-17 with a KKM barrel that runs great, The 21 just needed a 20# spring to help cut down on blow back.

I have an FNX-45 That is a pretty good pistol suppressor host. I use it as my nightstand gun. The 45 is pretty quiet all things considered and you can't beat a 15 round 45 magazine.

My worst host was a Universal M1 Carbine. Lots of gas blowback from the chamber into my face even with a large volume can I made for my 300 Whisper rifle.

I like suppressed AR's, 22lr pistols/rifles and any bolt gun. Anything subsonic including 50 cal is awesome.
