I have a 1/2x36 barrel, but also have a plethora of 1/2x28 muzzle devices.
I was wondering what you guys think of thread adapters & barrel extenders. Any of you notice a change in accuracy? Or even worse, had any type of failure or issue due to the extension?
I think adco makes them (if you can find one). They are great if you want to stay away from longer muzzle devices and still stay legal (pinned and welded of course).
I've got a 1/2x36 that I'd love to switch from 3 lug to Q cherry bomb. It's not worth using an adapter in my opinion. I'm either just going to deal with 3 lug, or get another barrel in the correct thread pitch.
