Yet they can do no wrong; but we as a population must have everything taken away lest we present a threat to the powers that be? Methinks the real threat to all of us is the criminal element who now have their hands on these items that were so poorly secured.

Pretty sure no one here is surprised at this latest news about the agency.

When any government mandates its law enforcement arms to enforce laws to carry out its political agendas, incompetence and corruption become the rule rather than the exception.

The people should be disgusted and calling for the abolishment of this redundant and hapless agency, yet few are paying attention.

"Like so many other government agencies, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives should be abolished, and its employees sent into the world to seek honest jobs in the private sector" Well, except that, especially in the cases of private sector employers trying to make profits, incompetence is nowhere near as highly rewarded as it seems to be in government service today.
