Being a bit of an AR plumber I end up working on friends guns from time to time, a couple weeks ago I built a buddy's lower and tore down another to be Cerakoted. He inadvertently left the strip lower upon his departure, so naturally I called him to let him know I ran his lower through the band saw to avoid any potential lack of transfer issues. We both laughed and I took the back roads to the local pub to give it back. The back road have zero to do with it.

A few months prior the same friend left his 45/410 Bond Derringer on the camp table so I could plug away with it. Long story short it ended up in my rig and he he left a couple days before I did. I called him up told him to report it stolen because I was keeping it for throw away since there was no transfer. In reality, I met him at the same pub and returned it.

Personally, I find it repulsive that the government, let alone some bug eyed, horse faced *itch, would presume to tell me who I should loan my firepower to, I take the subject way more serious and personal than they could comprehend.

Once upon a time, I recall the 4473 (if that's what it was called back then) had a check box that stated "Individual is know to me". The good old days.
