Daniel Defense Bolt-up RIS-II barrel nut wrench - heavy duty
an improved version, now in heavy duty steel, and available to order online from Charlie's Custom Clonescharliescustomclones.com
Sorry just realized the two tab issue. Which handguard so you have?
Well shoot, thanks for posting that! I was planning on swapping rails on my DD w/modular float rail shortly and I was not aware that the barrel nut was a two pronger.
Would a grinder take care of that pesky third tab?

Seems to me it's pending for a bending.Would a grinder take care of that pesky third tab?

If you have an armorers wrench you could use that. The castle nut portion. That's what I did. I need to get the torque spec checked though. It would I think. But the new nut is a 3 tab and that would be counter productive. Think I will just use a pipe wrench and vise.
