Well shoot, thanks for posting that! I was planning on swapping rails on my DD w/modular float rail shortly and I was not aware that the barrel nut was a two pronger.

That gun always seems to give me a challenge when I work on it. I swapped the mag release button awhile back and the boys at DD seem to love red loctite in a really unnatural way. Like how a boy in Kentucky loves his cousin. Holy hell they used a lot of it. :rolleyes:
 
It would I think. But the new nut is a 3 tab and that would be counter productive. Think I will just use a pipe wrench and vise.
If you have an armorers wrench you could use that. The castle nut portion. That's what I did. I need to get the torque spec checked though.
