Hello,

I work for a television production company and we're currently developing an idea for a new show with a basic concept of documenting a group of people who want to start a new, self-reliant community away from the modern world.

I've spent a long time searching through message boards and forums for anyone that might be an interesting character. Does an idea like appeal to you or do you know anyone who would be great for this project?

i thought it was funny a tv station in new york would want oregonians to do this,there are more hillbilly people than us around the south that make for good tv.

I did a quick search on yahoo and found the outfit and I think they are from the UK. I sent them an e-mail that everyone thinks this is a scam to get a couple thousand dollars from anyone who fell for it. They sent me a phone number and said to call.
