Right on My dad has a Super Redhawk Alaskan in .454 Casull. I'm pretty sure it's what drew my interest into big bore hand cannons now that I think on it a bit.454 Casull here
I believe the most rounds fired in one session was 66. Usually it's 30ish. The recoil is mild enough to fire offhand just fine, it's the weight of the 29" barrel that makes it "difficult" hanging out so far. Feels like a small thump in the sinuses when it fires. Keep in mind it weighs in excess of 30lbs and is burning roughly 250 grains of powder per shot. You handcannoneers have my respect. Haven't gone beyond 44Mag terittory as of yet.
50 BMG, only shot one off a tripod
Interested in how many rounds can you put downrange with that beast?
It's not a ball measuring thing but only out of interest.
