The whole country already had a nationwide injunction. Before that GOA, FPC, and SAF had injunctions for their members. This increased their $ due to additional new members joining to be included in the protected group. NRA has simply added onto the pile for the purpose of getting $, it does nothing for gun owners as they are simply copycatting what GOA, FPC, and SAF have already done and in addition the whole country is already enjoined. Don't be fooled by NRA's late and meaningless copycat tactics to get more $.

Pay close attention to who filed the lawsuits! GOA, FPC, & SAF did. Send $$$$$$$ in their direction. I've been a life member of the NRA since age 15. The NRA needs to get its act together.

Foreverlost,

Same for M114 here in Oregon. NRA did nothing to help until the very end. GOA needs our money now more than ever with the injunction just issued in the northern district court of Texas.

No longer a member of the NRA.

All the suits were filed within a few weeks of each other. There is no copycatting here. Do you have even the slightest idea of what is involved in preparing a suit such as these? By your very own statements one has to conclude the answer is a strong no.

These suits require hundreds (or more) hours of work by highly trained professionals for even a simple filing. Preparatory work was begun (by all filing parties) even before the ruling, in anticipation, so that the suits could be filed in a timely fashion. Sooner is always better on something like this. You want to hit it fast and hard, from multiple directions to have the greatest effect.

Every one of these judgements are of tremendous value. Multiple rulings from multiple courts responding to multiple plaintiffs broaden the scope of precedence, making future political action on the matter much more difficult to pass muster.

You don't like the NRA. I get it, I too have very strong issues with much the organization has done over the years. But if you are going to rail on them, pick a topic that is worthy of your griping. In this case the NRA, and all those organizations who filed, deserve our thanks and praise. Geeze guys, let's quit shooting our own wounded and look for common ground instead of tearing ourselves apart from within!
