Thanks for all the well wishes and sage advice. What I am looking forward to, and am now starting to experience, is doing things on my own schedule. Also, not doing things is a good change as well! :)

Things will sort themselves out. Try and take some time off mentally to adjust. It's definitely a transition, but any day can be a Saturday if you wish. :cool:
 
I've got over 20 unless I hit the amount needed before then. But I will predict this world will be so out of control and in peril before then, that retirement isn't happening. We will ALL be just surviving.

I retired two years ago and have loved every second of it. It was especially nice the first year because we had a lot of
snow and I could just stay home and watch it out the window instead of driving through it to w*rk.
