Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
Just thinking if it is true you were melting down brass for scrap like the article said. I'd think the risk with zinc oxide fumes is going to be significant. And if you were disassembling live rounds there had to be a bunch of lead around as well. If you have kids and you were melting this down in the home (just guessing from what the article said), you should get them checked for lead toxicity.
