Just off the top of my head.....the military .45 ACP round (the classic load was)......

230 grain FMJ bullet on top of 5 grains of Bulls Eye Powder.

I do same on top of 5gr red dot. Great load.

I did just try some 230gr Extremes or T-Group.
4.5gr and 4.6gr random stovepipes.
4.8gr ran nice!

I do have plenty of Red Dot, will give that a fly. Got a OAL?

That's the load (HP-38 tho) I have always run in my pistols, so it only made sense to run the same load in the AR 45's and they ran perfect.
