So I'm trying to start a 300 Blk pistol build (suppressed mainly but also supersonics). I'm kind of on the fence on barrel length and brand though; I'm thinking in between 8-10.5 and either a BA or BCM CHF barrel (CHF worth the price bump). Not sure what will give me good ballistic performance and withstand running suppressed. Also is an adjustable GB recommended or a tunable BCG? I've also heard people say to run a carbine or pistol buffer. Which is it?
Here is the build list thus far.
Aero M4E1 upper and lower
Stern Defense H2S trigger
Either an Aero or Midwest Ind handguard

I've never ran suppressed so I don't know much of what is involved to run it reliably. Any help is appreciated.

mine is a 10" ballistic advantage barrel with a pistol length gas system. i use a milspec 6 position buffer tube and a spikes t2 buffer

i have no tuneable gas block. just run'r wide open

Personal choices I guess. I built this for sub suppressed rounds only. Will only use it inside 100yds ... and some night time coyote hunting. This is a side charger ... just wanted something different. Andersson, 7.5" generic barrel, suppressor is in there.
Just essentials in the picture. GLW build.

I think go no more than10.5" both of mine are shorter. 8.2"Noveske/PacNor, and Seekins 8.5".

I went with adjustable gas blocks, and when shooting subsonic the JP silent captured spring takes away the "twang" from a normal spring.

Both are pistol length.
