.223 varmit reloading

Just wondering if anyone has a choice.223 bullet for rats. Looking for good shooting bullet that disintegrates on impact for minimal ricochet.

Father inlaw had varmit grenades disintegrate @ 100 target not sure what velocity but 1:9 twist which is what I'm running. Any good velocity to stay under for accuracy/nonscatter?Sorry should say they fragged before hitting target!

Your F I L had bullets disintegrating in thin are at 100 yards? Frgamenting?

Sounds like either a reload problem or something in the gun cutting it?
Or a really bad batch of bullets

I shoot A 60 gr V max over 26.0 gr of BLC-2 and have had very good luck out of my Bushmaster Varminter.
