Warnock is feeling some heat and trying to distance himself from Schumers of the world. Hopefully Georgians don't fall for it, Schumer and Warnock are cut from the same cloth.

If she were the devil incarnate I'd support her right now. If the Democrats win both races in Georgia in January the Senate will be 50/50 with Harris voting the tie breaker vote.

If that happens, say goodbye to the America you thought you knew. The filibuster will be gone, and the Democratic majority will be able to ram through anything they want with a 50%+1 vote (see above paragraph). The Supreme Court where we now have a 6-3 conservative majority will gain at least four brand new liberal justices, appointed by Biden and the Democratic controlled Senate on that same 50%+1 vote, without the cushion of the filibuster to prevent it. There will then be a 7-6 liberal majority on the court and your gun rights will continue to be eroded as follows:

1. Permanent "assault weapons" ban.
2. Background checks on ammunition, along with as much as a $1 per round tax.
3. Licensing and required training for gun owners.
4. Required liability insurance for gun owners.
5. An end to shall "issue" CHL permits nationwide.

And that's just a start.

So, yeah, if you don't care about the 2A or your gun rights then vote based on some other issue and screw the rest of us.

Senate ethics commission investigation and a separate investigation by the DOJ in conjuncture with the SEC found she violated zero rules or laws. It makes for a cute headline, but her investments are handled by a third party. Did she make money off the stock market during the pandemic? Yes. But so did I and thousands others by making sound trades. However if you have evidence that she participated in insider trading I am sure those governing bodies would love to hear about it.

This goes MUCH further than the 2A. If you are under the impression that Biden/Harris and a compliant congress are not going to assault your lifestyle and freedoms in numerous other ways you're very uninformed. Look at Biden's tax plans. Look at the "public option" for health care (hint: the government program becomes the dumping ground for all unprofitable insureds). Look at Biden's environmental plan. If Biden and Harris, and a Democratic congress have a free hand a lot more than the 2A is in trouble.

right on. Understood. I just feel one can be pro 2A and also have other things one holds important. We are complex beings and some folks may be single issue voters, some may not. I joined this forum less to be a 2A activist, more as a way to connect with people who might have firearms I'm interested in, or to learn some things about different firearms. Appreciate your humor, the PETA and jerky line was pretty good! lol. Might have to try that sometime?
