For real."Yer not bringing any of those icky automatics are you?!"*snort*
Good luck, bro... for all the military presence and AR-specialist shops in th Puget Sound area, the ranges are for the most part Fudd-infested Hells.
Any ideas for places to go within about 1 hour of Tacoma? 4x4 is no problem. Would like to shoot rifles 1-200 yards as well as some clays/ shotguns and pistols.
For winter spots look for something below 1800 ft or so.greenwater. might be snow though

Have they gotten over their "thing" with Black rifles? I have not known anyone who goes there in decades. Back when I moved back here they had a real hard on for anything black rifle. Place is close to where I live now so kept meaning to find out if the current owners / managers, had lost that problem?Greenwater was closed last time I went up and good luck above Wilkeson as the timber company created a 9.1 mile safety corridor that puts you on single track, unsafe for shooting. So I joined Paul Bunyan range as I got tired of driving 90 minutes to shoot only to be disappointed in what was available.
Paul Bunyan? I've seen a few of them shooting them, they limit you to 10 rounds in your mags for safety reasons but no issues so far.Have they gotten over their "thing" with Black rifles? They have then, I could live with the 10 rounds. Glad they allow them again now. May have to get out there to see the place again.Paul Bunyan? I've seen a few of them shooting them, they limit you to 10 rounds in your mags for safety reasons but no issues so far.
Yep, they've had a few runaways so they limit it to 10. Proof of it in the roof too...yikes.I fail to see how neutering mags is "safety" except in the case of a disconnector-malfunction runaway...
