    What is the likeliness of 300 BLK subs going supersonic in a 16 barrel?

    Assume 45 degrees temp. Want to get a bolt action for max quietness but I'm worried about 16" might make it go supersonic. I know smaller barrel models exist, I'm looking to find out if 16" barrel might go supersonic. Note that having 16” barrel length for NFA purposes is not a factor at all.
