A .223 Wylde chamber is a hybrid rifle chamber designed to allow .22 caliber barrels to safely fire either .223 Remington or 5.56x45mm NATO ammunition.

    Why .223 Wylde supposed to shoot heavier rounds more accurately?

    I’ve heard this in a few places and was wondering if it’s true and why? Also I’ve heard that shooting 223 in 223 wylde is supposed to be more accurate than shooting 223 in a 556 chamber. Any truth to that? So much info floating around it’s hard to tell what’s what. Thx for any insight!
