And there were uniformed, tactical geared up, AR toting police officers right behind her in the same room/entrance hallway. Usually a police officer dont fire in the direction of other police officers usually.

I have to wonder how much the buildup in the media may have contributed to his mindset and perception of danger... looking at all the Congress doing the lockdown/activeshooter/duckcover stuff leads me to believe they were ALL pretty hyped up! Especially the comments afterwards.
