I think it's time to find that and watch it again! :D

I still read a bunch before I see it was a thread from long ago too! :s0114: I pretty much give 'em pass, it's not terribly easy to just jump right in to a place like this and make your way into a group that may seem kind of "cliquish".
I seldom notice a thread is old and brought back as I can't remember them all and normally don't notice the dates, just see new posts. Never bothered me. What I have never understood is people who read every message then complain about the "old" thread. They gripe yet they read it? :s0092:

I guess I'm still puzzled why the question, "your dad had this Snyder?" caused some concern? If I had a gun for sale of any kind I wouldn't be put off by the question. I might respond by saying, "No, it's mine." but I wouldn't think much else about it.

A fair number of times I get to reading and find I had forgot the thread and though I was reading a NEW THREAD. Until I recognize that I HAD read it before. Like, two years ago! Yup, a noob brough it back up!

The best ones are when you go to like a post and find that you already liked it the first time around, or you're reading a post thinking yeah this guy really has a point and it's your own post.

Does That apply to black powder guns?
Sure there is an Enfield Snider black powder rifle too. At least I think so. Haven't checked. It's the Iowa long range rifles I was thinking of, or hoping maybe, might be what he was mentioning. Water under the bridge now though.

Yea caddyshack (my avatar ha ha), blues brothers, and animal house are just classics which probably couldn't be made today in our "be careful what you say culture". Along with many Mel Brooks' comedies.

Did you ever watch the video of the making of Blazing Saddles? Oh man. It's incredible the things that get done when people with a certain brain types get together. If you haven't watched that, you should. If you like Mel Brooks, Gene Wilder et al.

I have poor reading comprehension and even I understood what he wrote.

OP did not bring the Snyder to the sale. It was at home in the OP's safe because the OP did not wish it to be offered for sale. Tacky guy inquired about it anyway and tried to low ball an offer to the OP.

you're the only one champ!
so yeah you definitely have very poor reading comprehension!

That movie was an all time classic. A couple streaming services made noises about offering it and were bombarded with threats. I know one of them finally did stream it for a short while, not sure if they folded too. When Cleavon was still alive he used to tell the woke morons they had no clue what they were angry about.
