What does the cheapest full size cost now new? Was looking at sar9 full size and they are $219 now. But I heard Canik has a better trigger.

I learned my lesson in buying a Girsan. The cheaper priced guns aren't worth $1 because they aren't reliable, the quality of the steel is a low grade and they are not accurate in my experience. The Canik METE series I like the best over all out of the box.

What is the cheapest full size Canik now? That's what I meant. Or are you saying the cheapest Canik is junk?

The 2 most common ones I carry are the TP9SFX and TP9 Elite SC. Once I get a better holster for the Mete MC9, I would carry it a bit more...

I have the TP9SFX but didn't shoot it much because I decided to change to a steel frame. I have a Rival Darkside S now and I love it. Great shooter and it's my favorite now (sorry Glock). I use it at matches, had to change the recoil spring to a lighter one (Canik sent it to me for free) and never any issues with it. Fits my hand perfectly and a great trigger. Highly recommend it.
