What's your favorite red dot sight?

Open emitter means the emitter is open and can be affected my debris/weather causing it to be blocked. It reflects on the single piece of glass up front.

Closed emitter means the emitter is enclosed completely. Glass on the front and rear keeping all debris/weather out of the optic.

They are bigger for sure. But they keep all the lint/skin/debris/ect off of the lens. Super easy to clean. Being Oregon with the amount of rain we get they shine as well.

I have nothing to compare it to. I bought it because it was suggested to me by my SIL who is very active in the shooting sports and is kinda snobby about what he uses. So far, there's nothing for me to complain about.

Holosun puts out a quality product. There's no denying that my problem with them is the country of origin plain and simple if I can buy a product that is not made in China I will always go that route because fcvk China.

Our opinions on buying from China are the same. I honestly had no clue that it might have been made in China in the first place, so I looked (the box is still right by my monitor). But the recommendation came from someone with a similar mindset.
The open emitter is fine with me on my little Sig, but if I stick something on a SBR or carbine, I see why the enclosed would be about the only way to go.

The buttons are WAY better. One of my P2s has some of the mushiest buttons ever. It works but there is no tangible click when adjusting. It's all by sight.

It is but not by much. I think the MPS has the biggest window but the battery life is garbage.

I'm gunna try a PB3 here soon and see how I like it.

An ACRO is between $6-700 I suspect this will come down a bit to that level.

Holosun 507 COMP. I own 3. One of them I've had on a pistol with over 20k rounds on it. Another the glass broke after 10k rounds. Holosun sent me a new one in a week.
