Good grief. How SO many people are okay with that crap and keep voting for it over and over again is so beyond me. It's like people want to be ruled under a dick-tater or something :(
The same number of people that refuse to vote with their brain or conscience, they will tow their party line regardless what cartel is running their beloved party, they will never change their party affiliation even when its been hijacked by progressive liberal socialists, most arent even aware their party has been hijacked they are so drunk on the "FREE" KOOLAID

I think if the Communists were to change their party name they too could easily hijack the remainder of the so called democratic party

oh emmmmm geeeeeee! it's finally here!

Took 13 months but my permit is here!!!!!!

Got it over the weekend and going to the store today to see what I want to purchase! WOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Is that permit good for only one purchase or can you buy more than one pistol after getting the permit. Meaning 6 months from now can you buy another pistol or do you go thru the process all over again??

One gun. It's easily as bad as it sounds. Here's a series from a New York journalist who decided to buy a gun. It's a great read.

MILLER: Emily gets her gun - Washington Times

no the permit is good for as many guns as you want. I think you can fit 5 pistols on one permit and if you buy more they just give you another card.

Honestly, I think it's easier to get a handgun in Canada, you may want to just consider living north of the border. You could make a killing smuggling cigarettes, gasoline and alcohol and selling it up north, and then running prescription drugs south.

Born in NY. Left in 87. Not inclined to return. Stupid voters, stupid politics, stupid gun laws. NY, NJ, CT and MA are screwed for gun ownership. The stupidity has a directly pipeline to Cali. WA is lining up right behind them and OR is getting wonkier by the minute. What we need is new laws that don't let large population centers dictate policy for the rest of the state(s).
If that was the case then the above mentioned states wouldn't have such shinola gun laws.
Just saying...

Definitely. It's kinda scary that one city has so much power over the rest of the state.

But I did get to pick up my new Springfield EMP4 today at the store. I can't wait to go shoot it!!!!

Yeah we live that reality here in Oregon. Multnomah county seems to have a stranglehold on the rest of Oregon.

Going tomorrow to shoot it. Picked up about 700 rounds of ammo to run through it.

Geeze, that is a beaut! So, I've got to figure you don't just go to the sporting goods store and grab a couple boxes of .45ACP off the shelf for $22.00, pay, and walk out the door? Drive 25-60 minutes to an old rock quarry? Set up some targets and shoot? Or, what does it take to belong to a range there?

My bad maybe, but I feel like the US Eastern seaboard is kinda like another planet. Ignorance on my part probably.

Thanks guys! my wife thinks I'm crazy because I have been fondling it non stop. lol

You can buy ammo at any store but you have to provide a permit that shows you own a pistol. you know because people just buy ammo for no reason and throw it at people.

There are a couple of ranges around that I can hit up tomorrow. Probably going to the range that I took my safety course at.

If you do not have a pistol permit you can't even rent a gun at the range...some stores will let you check them out before the purchase but some don't even let you touch them without a permit. it's ridiculous in these parts.
