I was at the Wal-Mart in Oak harbor today. The guy ahead of me bought a Remington 700 in 270 for 90.00 !!!!. No kidding, the cashier didn't even know it was on clearance.. he also bought a 250.00 scope for 50.00.. I talked to the cashier and he said he was using some kind of app. Anybody hear of such thing.

I have this printer on my desk. It can print any kind of coupon I can mock up with my computer. I don't, but it's sitting here right there on my desk. Just saying, possible explanation.

A lot of big name brands make cheap versions of their stuff for Walmart. I've noticed it with knives especially. But it sounds like Walmart has an app that probably sends you weekly deals or something that aren't otherwise published

Yes, there is an App: ( don't remember the name of it) it's an online only deal, but if the items are in store/instock, you can get the app price on them!

I got a .17 WSM Savage B17 for $70 a couple years ago during an unannounced clearance at Wally World. I knew someone that worked there that gave me a heads up.
