What should be on the table for France?

So, what action(s) should be on the table for France?

1) WWII style round ups & internment

2) Declaration of war (against whom)

3) Nuclear response (against whom)

4) Ban all Islamic activities

5) Targeted strikes & assassination (the Obama plan)

6) Arm the populace - like the Swiss mandatory lifetime military service, military weapons in every home

I favor 6, 1, 5 - one or two legally armed (and trained) people could have made a huge difference - there is nothing more fearsome to a criminal than an armed victim and nothing more attractive than an unarmed one.

1 - won't happen, no way they'll do it, nor would any other countries allow them to.
2 - they've kind of already done this - not sure how or where they'll plan to make it happen
3- definitely won't happen, not a chance
4 - also won't happen. They'll apologize to Muslims before they ban all Islamic activities. The Charlie Hebdo attacks show they won't be changed even by tragedy.
5 - kind of goes along with #3
6 - won't happen - they don't want their people armed.

In the end, they'll continue to work with coalition forces to make some feeble attempts to go after ISIS, just so they can say they're doing something. They won't stop letting these folks into their country - too many people in Europe are in favor of more refugees. And they certainly won't arm the citizens - that puts too much control back in their hands, not to mention the fact that so many there are conditioned against guns.

Ultimately, I give it a few weeks for the panic and fear to subside, then they'll simply go back to what they were doing on November 12th.

A- They aren't criminals, they're terrorists.
B- They want to die for the cause so armed citizens don't enter their thinking.

Well now that the Russians have finally acknowledged that it was a terrorist bomb that brought down the plan over Egypt a couple weeks ago, it seems they too are turning their sights, with increased focus and intensity, on ISIS. If ISIS goal was to get attention, they certainly have it now.

Russia is, as of today, offering a $50M reward for the capture of the bombers that brought down the Metrojet plane over Egypt. Putin seems more irritated/pissed than usual.

In other news, Obama held a butterfly today, and finished a page in his coloring book. He also won the award for 'Most Compassionate Supporter of Terrorists" - his 7th year running.
