So she cleans it before putting it in the garage, which keeps the garage clean and the car is out of the elements except while in use. Did you notice the rest of the garage is uncluttered? ..... Not a Man's domain!
That's not a garage. It looks like a drive-thru car port.
Could've been taken by the car lot she bought it from, for the ad they created to sell it (still has the used car sticker on the windshield).

That's a clean, nice-lookin' rig, MG!
Definitely cleaner than some of my old rigs...
I finally clicked your link Sobo - and kudos on the debt free aspect and you have some sweet rides! After I drove my 2011 Subaru Outback off the mountain last year to Houston in 3 days... I finally succumbed to the "I had a Jeep in my youth and by God I'll have another one before I die!" disease - and after we moved out to East Texas last spring I traded it straight across for the Wrangler LOL. It's gotta be comical as hell watching me maneuver these old bones up into it but - I. Dont. Care. :p I only need to get to town and back now, with no snow/ice to contend with - so there ya go. :)

Of course I cleaned it. I waited 50 years for another Jeep and it'll get dirty enough on these country roads. YAY! And... that's not a garage, it's sitting on the small corner of the space I get. Not a Man's domain?? Wrongo Buffalo Bob. You should see what the other 3 quarters of the space looks like. Not cluttered, though... just FULL. :D

You're right, it's an oversized 4-vehicle carport, but not drive through; in front of where my Jeep's parked is a patio set, 2 pit/smoker/grills (smoke piped out) and where we stand to shoot, complete with guns locker, etc. all under the roof. (One of the first things we did after buying the place was set up the range) The other side of the carport holds his shop set-up, and parking for his P/U and his sxs... so I guess you could say the carport is well shared... especially our shooting spot. :)

Oh yeah, and that sticker? It's the required TX inspection sticker. Everybody complies with that little thing. No reason to give them a reason to pull ya over, lol :p

Gawd, I love hearing that...

We love using it. Major hassle driving/paying for Range time - so shooting at home was a 'must have' as we looked for a place out here. I posted a pic in my Intro thread... we stand on the mat and shoot over the railing; targets are at 30' and 35 yards. We've got 100yds of clearing going the other way so we might develop that sometime.. but most our fun is pistol & AR - and neither of us hunt anymore, so long sighting-in isn't necessary now. We'd rather just sit & relax, drink, BBQ and shoot. Being old does have it's upsides. :D

I saw one of these today.....

Yesssir! Pulled up right along side of it! I really wanted to get a look at the person driving but it turned off NE 122nd to east bound 84.

The thing only has a four year warrantee inc./maintenance!

Vibrating thirds row seats!! :s0023:

Starting at $351k!!!! Wow, if I had that kind of money I sure as heck wouldn't buy crap like that. Needless to say, I'm slightly opinionated 😁

I'm with you man. I'd get me a cherry, full refurb mid 70s +/- suburban. Engine tranny package depending on what I was going to do with it. Seeing something like THAT on the road is what turns me on!

Wife just had surgery late last week and is finally up and around. Asked to go "look at" bikes again today. She has been looking for years. All of a sudden she found one she wanted. I was just wandering around the place when all of a sudden she asks "if we buy this now can you ride it home?" Damn felt like more fun than I expected. Now can't wait for the weather to get nice again! About froze my butt getting it home :s0140:

Very Nice !!!
And kudos to your wife for pulling the trigger on it. :)
Life can turn on a dime - and there's no reason to dally when something means that much.

That's great! I wish my wife would take an interest in riding other than just being on the back. Don't get me wrong, my Harley is big but so are we, and it gets a little crowded, LOL

Thanks she was at the point of buying a smaller version of it several years ago, the 650, but decided to get her teeth straitened. She kept asking me and I kept saying whichever is priority for you I support. My teeth could use it too but I could care less as long as they work. :D
So anyway she got to looking at them again a year of so ago and red was the color she wanted. Thing is an 09 but only 6K and in great shape. Looks like someone kept it under cover all its life. When she asked if we could both use it to ride up to the mountain this summer I said yes it would easily do that. So she is going to sign up for some classes again to get the feel of one again. Looking forward to seeing her ride it.

Only reason I ever found to use the pavement with two wheels was to get to the store or work and back, or get to the dirt. Pavement was too damn scary for me. On the dirt, I was the only one I needed to depend on. I trusted ME!

I did get to ride everything that I worked on for those 10 years in the biz though. Customers bikes and the new in crate bikes. The first gold wing to our shop is still a good memory.
