A ford pinto
When I was in high school, long time ago, '70-73, one of the kids in our neighborhood dropped a Chev 327 in a Chevy Vega.
I have to say now, though, that I just don't see cars like the Pinto, Vega, and others of the time as being ugly. Cars now are made to look all the same for some reason? Walking down the parking lot of Winco, back to the car there isn't much difference in cars. There will be 3-5 cars around our '24 HR-V and they're all similar color, same damned ugly shark fin on the back, hatch back, body shape. Boring as HELL!

6" lift, 37s, 4.88 gears, 14b SF rear end, and a bunch of other small things. It has about 215k miles on the clock. I have been daily driving it for 15 years and it's been pretty good to me, though these past few years it's always something. I'll never give it up but one of these days I'll need a backup vehicle.

This was my dream truck growing up! I graduated in '98 and always wanted to own one of these lifted how yours is. That is a beautiful rig, my daily is a nasty 99 escort with peeling paint, only 73k miles though. I do enjoy my '19 Powerstroke but would prefer your pickup. That thing is sweet! Keep it going as there aren't too many left on the road.

I got this 1972 Honda Xl250 running! It was somebody's rejected project, so not completely together. A bit of an unknown when I got it, but I'm pleased with how it's going!
Very nice! When I went to work for Pacer Honda in 1975 I bought that years model XL 250. I was the one that un-crated and completed the assembly of the bike. I exchanged the band new muffler straight straight across with the parts department for a "Bassani, tuned pipe/muffler. And took off the turn signals. A little later, still under warranty, had the idler gear on the kick-start shaft freeze up and strand me. I got to do the warranty work, and get paid for it. I put a stroker crank and cam in it at the time. Later on I "aired the front shock-tubes and put the longer/heavier XL 35O shocks on the rear. Those were some REAL good times! Total freedom. And there were so many places to go within a 1/2 hour ride to hit dirt and run all day between dirt and pavement.

My wife and I just bought a 2018 Ford Focus sedan. It belonged to my son. He had it in Germany. My son is working as a mechanic in Washington currently and he did a lot of work to it before delivering it to us. We've only had it a couple of weeks. 64,000 some odd original miles.

Our other vehicle is 18 years old. I put it in suspense while I replace the interior. The seats on that are vinyl and they're all cracked. It's a Chevy mini van.
