I'm always curious to know what everyone drives.

I have a 2000 Toyota 4Runner Limited with an ARB Bull Bumper and a Warn M8000 winch. While I love owning it, I don't drive it enough, so it's up for sale.

Next is Jenny's car, a 2002 Hyundai Accent. One of the best decisions we've ever made was purchasing this car. Jenny has a 50 mile round trip commute and the 38MPG highway really takes some of the pain away from the pump. I know why these cars sell for $8k new, and it's not because they're bad cars. Working on them, you can see how they streamlined the assembly process to the point where everything fits together like lego's. Very smart, and good for me when I'm working on it.

(No photo, you guys know what these look like)

Third is my 1989 BMW 325i convertible. This is the fifth or sixth E30 BMW Jenny and I have owned, and they really are amazing little cars. I pulled the motor out of it to reseal all the gaskets last year and as of today, the engine is still apart. Hopefully it'll be done in time to enjoy the last bit of summer.

Fourth is this 1991 BMW 525i. I bought this from the second owner with 123,xxx miles on it. It sat for quite a while and no joke, must have had a 1/4 inch of leaves and dirt in every crevice possible. I was literally shocked once Jenny and I got it to the shop and cleaned it up, it's one of the cleanest and straightest E34's I've ever seen.

We bought a new Lexus RX 350h for my wife because she said her Toyota Sedan was too big, hard to park, etc. On day three of ownership, she and three other stopped cars were rear-ended in California. She was at the head of the line and the only one whose airbag didn't deploy. The car doesn't look bad, but the body shop said it would cost $6- $7k or more, depending on what's damaged behind the plastic. she wasn't injured and drove on to Arizona. Me, I drive a 2017 Tacoma TRD 4 door. It appears that the guy who caused the wreckage does have insurance. I wish I could get her a vanity plate that says REXUS

Wish I hadn't sold my 68 Bronco, back then, they were not worth all that much, just an old truck, but damn, I made money when I did sell it! Paid $3000 for it, had to put an engine and exhaust in it, new tires and brakes and had it painted. People would stop me and offer obscene money for an un-cut mostly origional Bronco, I ended up selling it for $25000, and I Ran as fast as I could to the bank, didn't want him to decide he paid too much for it, it was nearly perfect, being unrestored, but looking nearly new! Tried to find another one later, would love to do a restomod, but even a half rusted tub is big bukz, not worth all the head aches!

I paid $2400 for mine in 1970. It is not stock. 351 Windsor, top loader 4 speed, heavy duty rear end, later front end with disc brakes, leaf springs in front, PTO Ramsey winch and roll bar.

Mine was an all original Alaska spec ( Every thing plug in heated ) Bronco, 289, 3 on the tree, bald bias plies, and a sno-plow! Blew the engine on a short dinner trip with the wife while on leave in Fairbanks Ak, and had it towed back to Fairbanks to a local shop, found a low milage Junkyard 92 Ford 302 truck motor and 5 speed, so had the shop do the swap and install new exhaust and tires! Drove that sucker clear to Florida in an epic 3 week sprint, kept it there for a couple years whilst stationed there, then back across country to New Mexico, and then on back to Oregon where I had it painted and then sold it a few years later!

The rantings by Greta shamed me into doing something to fight climate change, so I got
a "Green" vehicle,,,,, a Chevy Suburban that's painted green and gets terrible mileage.
We all gotta do our part, right?

You know? If you get goofing around on that thing, doing tight circles as fast as you can, you can run over your own leg and get get thrown off the machine.

I know things like that because I was wrenching in a couple of Honda shops back in the 70's into the '80s.
I do tight circles slowly on 2 wheels.

Cornering at speed is often on 2wheels as well...

Have it in low gear so the 125 tops out at 24mph..
