To the real connoisseurs out there, I have a question.
Is vodka water flavored alcohol or alcohol flavored water?
I'd say vodka water is intentions diluted by hydration.

Technically? Alcohol flavored water.

Philosophically? Water with commitment issues.

Either way… it's what you order when you want to drink and pretend you're making good decisions. 😄

I'm not sure how I missed this post, but just want to say that you Mono as well as Jimbo have the most beautiful hands I've seen on manly men, and such fine taste in jewelry as well.

Killing time while my sweetie gets a mani pedi… and the beer gods smile upon me, there's an Irish pub literally across the street from the nail salon…

Guinness Draught

Jet black with that iconic creamy head. Smooth from the first sip, roasted barley, coffee, a hint of chocolate, and almost zero harshness. Light-bodied for a stout, which is why it goes down so easy.

ABV: 4.2%
Verdict: 7/10
Not heavy, not flashy… just ridiculously smooth and dependable.

:s0170: But it looks like Root Beer. I'd like it if it was Root Beer. :D

Complot IPA

Barcelona balcony beer hits different… and this one actually brings some punch.

Golden with a slight haze. Right away you get citrus, tropical fruit, a bit of pine, those hops show up like they mean it.

First sip: grapefruit, light malt backbone, and a clean bitterness that lingers just enough without wrecking your palate.

It's not a heavy West Coast IPA, not a hazy juice bomb either, more of a balanced, Mediterranean take. Easy enough to drink, but still has some bite.

ABV: 6.6%

Verdict: 7.5/10
Solid, flavorful, and a nice break from the lighter Spanish lagers.

Best enjoyed exactly like this, cold, balcony, warm air, nowhere to be. 😎

I had the last grandkids initial tattooed on my hand yesterday. To me it looks like a lot of you all have office jobs next door to the manicure salon.

Kælderkold "Megadeath" American IPA

Hop-forward and to the point. Citrus, grapefruit, a touch of pine, with a clean, firm bitterness that sticks the landing.

ABV: 6.2%
Brewed by: Black Sheep Brewery (Yorkshire, England), consumed in Barcelona, Espana

Verdict: 7/10
Loud, crisp, and no-nonsense—hops doing their job.

Gunslinger West Coast IPA

Golden pour, clean and clear, no haze, no nonsense.

First hit: grapefruit, citrus peel, a touch of pine. Classic West Coast profile. Light malt backbone just enough to keep it balanced, then it finishes dry with a firm, lingering bitterness that lets you know it showed up to work.

ABV: 6.2%

Verdict: 6.9/10 @sobo
Crisp, punchy, and unapologetically bitter.

Bottom line:
Not here to be trendy… just here to do the job right. 🍺

Billionaire Sl#t Double Porter

Dark, thick, and not here to be subtle.

Jet black pour with a creamy tan head.

First sip: roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, maybe a touch of sweetness on the back end, but it's balanced by a solid roasted bitterness. Full-bodied, smooth, and a little dangerous.

ABV: 7.4%

Verdict: 7.5–8/10 it is darn tasty 🤩 Rich, bold, and unapologetic.

Bottom line:
Not a session beer… this one's a slow sipper. The name's loud, but the beer backs it up.
