Rocking the G&T as per standard operating procedure. As we have the fixings, I offered my esposita a margarita, but she declined. No matter, the tequila is going to be consumed one way or another (neat, TnT, margarita, et al.). Spring is in the air and soon Summer will be upon us. :D

Popped open a bottle of my Cider tonight. It's pretty dry but still has a good apple flavor, and it also has a nice woody almost bourbony finish. I messed something up with bottling only two of them were carbonated, probably because I used pilloncillo instead of plain sugar or corn sugar.

EDIT: After finishing the 2nd bottle I think the pilloncillo was fine but I might of underestimated the ABV and killed the yeast, I'm bubbleguming drunk.

Tonight I'm having a variation on a bees knees,

3 ozs dry gin
2 ozs sweet mead
1.5 ozs (about 1 lemon) grilled lemon juice (cut lemon in half and place cut side down on a hot grill for about 5 minutes)
