I tried my hands at something different tonight.

1oz orange juice
3oz hard cider
1.5oz bourbon
.5oz amoretto liquor
A few dashes of bitters
Caramelized orange on top

Not bad, it would be good with a cinnamon stick in there.

Ummm, the Glenfiddich 40 year old goes for only $5,000 a bottle. That's a lot of gun purchases...just say'n. The 15 year old Glenfiddich Solera for under $100 is a great, and allows you to buy, like a Barrett 50 cal with the leftover change. Thanks for the post though, great to see how the rich live.

This was is my first bochet, and I decided to go heavy on the honey. I usually prefer a dry Mead, and this bochet is definitely a bit sweet for me to drink neat.

It does have an awesome flavor though, much different than a traditional Mead. I'll definitely try it again soon.
