The trouble with the UN is that a lot of the countries are governed by despots that have no concern for their subjects and don't want them to have a "fighting chance" to overthrow them. The NGO's really have no say either although they are allowed to make a speech or two. The US has veto power but our present administration has stated they will support what ever comes out of the Committee.
Therefor it must be stopped by our Congress, which they have already pledged to do. Hope it holds up otherwise there may be a lot of blue targets running around on US soil.
