Tells me they aren't hurting as bad as I always see people handing them money frequently from the mail boxes

Except that many members are life members and no longer pay annual dues.
They got a bunch of money up front but that was years (decades in my case) ago.Now I only donate as I see fit

I personally don't support any organization, political candidate, etc unless they are as pure as the driven snow, without sin, and agree with me on 100% of the issues all of the time.

I don't support organizations who few at the top get filthy rich doing the bare minimum.

what did they do to help the BS gun laws up and down the west coast?
They only extended themselves in areas that are easily won to keep people sending them money and them keeping most of it.
