Watermelons and Tannerite!

This is just too fun not to share.
My buddy and I spent yesterday playing with watermelons and tannerite. This is what it looks like when a watermelon is loaded with 1lb of tannerite looks like when it meets a 55 grain 5.56 mm bullet traveling at 3200fps. Each watermelon had 3 GoPro cameras on it at a range of 10-15 ft. This is just one melon and one camera.

I just bought some tannerite not long ago looks like I need to buy a water melon or two. My kids will get a kick out of this.

1/2 pound was perfect for each watermelon. 1lb was overkill but a lot of fun. You could feel the concussion 100 yards away with a full pound.

New SCAR 16 with a LEUPOLD scope. Used the first watermelon to sight it in. There was a some cool slo-mo action with the guts in the melon so we kept that for the teaser.

I've done the same with pumpkins. I don't mind admitting I giggled like a school girl when the pumpkins were atomized! Very fun for sure.

I took two basketball sized pumkins and placed a 1lb tannerite inside the bottom one and stacked the other on top. I shot it from about 75 yards and I had pumkin puree sailing over my head.
