Hello, my google searches have been weak or I can't find an answer to this question:

If I install a 150 gallon water reservoir and hook up my washing machine to the drain valve, will there be enough water pressure to fill the washing machine?

My thought is that this would ensure that water cycles through the storage vessel regularly. Even if it worked, would it be more trouble than it is worth since it will still need periodic cleaning?

Thanks in advance.

Is your tank going to be higher then your washing machine?

If so and depending on your washer the gravity ''might' work.

If not then you would need an inline pump to increase the pressure.

Water should be good forever if you treat it.
