WASHINGTON STATES AG JUST ANNOUNCED TODAY THERE WHERE GOING TO BE DRAWING UP PLANS FOR A "ASSAULT RIFLES AND HIGH CAPACITY MAGIZEN BAN" FOR NEXT YEAR. IN LIGHT OF THE RECENT MULKETIO SHOOTING. WE NEED TO GET THE WORD OUT AND NOT LET THIS GET ANY HEAD WAY. IF WE DON'T THIS WILL BE THE FIRST STEP TOWARDS THE WAY CALIFORNIA LAWS ARE GOING. WE NEED TO TAKE A STAND EARLY ON AND PUT A STOP TO THIS.

Historically a ban of this type includes both of the firearms you mentioned, along with any other weapon that shares certain "evil features". Basically calling for a Clinton-style ban from what I'm seeing.
