CCW permit holder have their initial background check purchasing a firearm and then further government checks for the permit. This Governor in training doesn't trust his own people and the very public he begged to represent he sees an likely assassins and murderers.

Nancy Pelosi is apparently scared to go out in DC in public because the armed Secret Service isn't shadowing her every move. So she takes the logical step and goes to the safe haven of Puerto Rico. I really hope Washingtonians remember this slap in the face come election time.

How guns and gun owners are portrayed and thought of by some of our elected officials , news and media...

How someone can insult a group of people and get away with it...

Another thing that bothers me about the Lt. Governor's statement is :
We are often told not to judge a whole group of people , by the actions of a few members....Yet...
Here he is doing just that...judging folks who have gone out of their way to do something legally.

By "gone out of their way to do something legally" ...I mean to say to ask permission to 'bear arms" and not only ask , but pay for this privilege as well.
I say "privilege" because if you have to ask for permission , it is no longer a "Right"....
