WA background check

So bought a gun 2 weeks ago have my concealed permit and still have not heard back. How long is the typical wait? Anyone else experience delays this long?

At least 3 weeks for King County, and that was about 3 yrs ago, post Rona who knows..

After 10 business days the FFL should release it unless a delay or deny was issued.

From what I understand talking to SafeFire guys the wait sometimes depends on where you live and who does your background check. For me it's CCSO, which has the longest wait times. Last three purchases I made were within last 3 months. Two times I waited 15 days and once 17. I expect it's even slower now. Yesterday Limitless America guys told me they've seen as long as 30 days.

City limits is a few days wait, out of city it's 2/3 weeks.

KCSO is taking 5 days or less.

I live in Pierce county and my not-common name gets me my pistols in 7/8 days. Still a far wait from when I lived in PA - same day!
