Here recently I have become Facebook friends with a guy in South Korea. He specializes in wood furniture for MP5 and MP5K series guns. He uses rare and exotic woods from all over the globe. He is very talented and makes this stuff by hand. I am not familular with his prices except the A2 stock. Somebody asked about it and he said it was $300.00. Here is some eye candy for everybody. If anybody wants to enquire about his stuff, send me a PM.

Does he do braces or only stocks?
Only stocks. But you may be able to talk him into doing a brace. He never did any folding stocks until I talked him into it. Now he has my version of folding stock as his profile image and does lots of different folding stocks. So by being the first one it actually helps more people in the future because you are getting him to expand his offerings. He's easy to work with but English isn't his first language and he isn't much into providing a lot of detail.

A3 tactical, tailhook (different versions), strike industries, and jmac (I think) all make skelotinized "end of tube" or "end of strut" braces. You could add one of those onto a wood "tube" or "strut" with just a simple adapter. Shop around those sites mentioned and you'll probably see what I'm talking about. Try to get some stuff figured out to have some ideas before asking him would be my suggestion. Then he doesn't have to reach as far from what he is already comfortable with.

Why do you guys hate braces? Is it because they don't fit within ATF rules and you want to make sure everyone follows those? I don't understand cuz I have sbrs, guns with stocks, guns with braces, and just ordered another brace today.

Why is this

So much better than this, when it means you have to add a stamp ($200)? I don't understand.

Adding a brace to this gun Fe literally cost me $10 this morning. Adding a stock woudl mean buying a stock and paying for a stamp. Why on a range blaster?

We get it, it's pride month.

Keep cramming it down our throats.

Yea whatever buddy. No reason to be a dick.
When it comes to braces, there's always reason to be a dick.

But also, I was just joking. It might have been a terrible joke, but a joke none the less. Also, it was more of a pride month joke, in my opinion, but whatever.

Sorry I hurt your feelings, dude. Can I offer you a hug? Maybe a side hug if that's more your style.

In for a penny , in for a pound.

That and basically just being a jerk.
My braced stuff is not all getting stamped, but I wouldn't spend any real money on it.

I hear you on spending real $ on it. But for those who don't want to register any guns with the ATF or go through the hassle or whatever then it would be worth spending more on it I would guess. That's a personal choice and I respect those who don't want to register anything. I do wish we could put vertical grips on braced pistols though. The Korean guy (Young) does make some cool vertical grips. He's got talent for sure and I like mine. For those with real HKs he has some cool HK letting you can add (you must specify that). My sbr is a clone so I left off the monogram. This is the first folder he did and I had to modify the back to make it work which is fine. He makes folders now though which is awesome.

The vert grip rule is probably the easiest way to illustrate how completely dumb nfa sbr rules actually are. A vertical foregrip without a stock to lean in to does almost nothing to stabilize a large pistol.

But it requires 2 hands! :s0112: And nobody shoots a pistol with 2 hands, that would be illegal! :s0054::s0054::s0054:
